Although wind power has many advantages, has several disadvantages too. Wind energy can generate electricity and pollution-free green and save enough money on your electricity bills. Disadvantages Wind Energy
First, the cost of the first installation is very high. Although the federal government not provide any aid or assistance to a person who seeks the creation of a wind farm, some states have improved plans for its citizens. For example, you can get up to 35% of all costs of the Agency, if you live in New York.
Secondly, the wind are noisy. This can make the atmosphere of a house and cause disturbances. Therefore, most Windmills on households are constructed outdoor patios or in the field, to avoid causing noise problems for residents.
Another problem observed with windmills used for houses is that the turbines sometimes cause interference with television and some other devices. This may also prevent many people use wind energy as a major source of energy for their homes.
Wind turbines do work only when a strong wind blowing. The Ideally, the wind must be no less than 20 miles per hour, without which electricity production suffers. There are many areas that never experience such winds, and thus can choose not to opt for wind energy. The weather may be very damaging to the windmills.
Maintaining a good mill to improve the efficiency of electricity production can be severe pain in the neck. Unless you can manage a considerable amount of fat working speed, blades and other moving parts, you must spend a good amount of money to someone to do the work for you. Without adequate lubrication, the parts will not be able to move freely, and thus reducing the efficiency of the windmill.
Such were the disadvantages of a number of wind energy. It is mainly due to these drawbacks of wind energy turbine not used in every sense of all and every person, despite having many advantages.
